Ben Cheetham Films

Ben is a freelance filmmaker from Bristol with a background in documentary film and anthropology. He directs, edits and shoots a diverse range of projects including documentary films, promotional videos and live performances.

Ben graduated from the Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology with a first class masters degree in 2011, his graduation film “Saliendo Adelante” (Moving Forward) that was shot in Bogota, Colombia and was screened internationally, winning best student film at EtnoFilm Festival 2013.

Since then he has been working as a freelance film maker for a variety of production companies, charities and research agencies. He has directed and shot films around the world in both English and Spanish. Most notable he shot the feature documentary “One Long Journey” with All Rites Reversed which is currently being screened at film festivals internationally.

In January Ben will be starting a two year masters degree in Directing Documentary at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield.
